The State of SaaS Affiliate Programs — 2026

A sourced map of how SaaS and hosting affiliate programs actually pay in 2026 — lifetime recurring revenue share, high-ticket MRR multiples, and one-time bounties — with rates as published by each program.

"Affiliate commission" hides wildly different economics. A 60% lifetime recurring program and a flat $65 one-time bounty are not comparable. This page groups verified programs by payout structure so the real value is visible. All rates below are as published by each program at compile time; confirm the exact current tier at signup.

1. Highest-ticket: hosting MRR multiples

Managed-hosting programs pay a multiple of the customer's monthly recurring revenue — the largest per-sale payouts in this dataset.

ProgramNetworkPublished structure
NexcessImpact~400% of MRR per sale; 90-day cookie
Liquid WebImpact~300% of MRR per qualifying sale; 90-day cookie
WP EngineShareASaleMin ~$200/sale or 100% of first month (whichever higher), up to ~$250; 180-day cookie
KinstaDirectOne-time ~$50–$500 per WP referral plus ~10% monthly recurring for life; <4% churn
CloudwaysDirectSlab up to ~$125/sale, OR hybrid ~$30 upfront + ~7% lifetime recurring

2. Best long-term: lifetime recurring revenue share

These pay for as long as the referred customer stays — the highest lifetime value when the product has low churn.

ProgramNetworkPublished rate
Systeme.ioIn-house60% lifetime recurring; lifetime (sticky) attribution; $30 threshold; no application
BeehiivDirect50% of referred revenue for 12 months, tiered up to 55–60%; 60-day cookie
WebflowPartnerStack~50% of first 12 months; tiered renewal recurring (~10–15%)
SkoolFirstPromoter40% recurring for life while subscribed; 60-day cookie
MailerLiteTrackDesk30% lifetime recurring; 45-day cookie
LiveChatDirect~20% lifetime recurring, rising to ~22% after 5 customers, +~5% second-tier
TidioPartnerStack~30% lifetime recurring on referred paid Cloud plans

3. Standard: recurring for 12 months

ProgramNetworkPublished rate
HubSpotImpact~30% recurring up to 12 months; ~180-day cookie; super-affiliate bonuses
Teachable / ThinkificPartnerStack30% recurring on referred paid plans

GetResponsePartnerStack~33% recurring (moving to ~40%) OR $100 bounty
Kit (ConvertKit)PartnerStack~30% recurring (sources vary 30–50%)

4. One-time bounties (hosting & builders)

ProgramNetworkPublished bounty
BluehostImpactFlat ~$65/sale (negotiable ~$100–$120 high-volume)
SiteGroundDirectTiered ~$50/sale up to ~$100/sale; 60-day cookie
A2 HostingDirectTiered ~$55–$125/sale + ~$5 second-tier
DreamHostTUNEUp to ~$200/referral; 97-day holding period
HostingerDirectUp to ~40% (up to ~60% on specific offers); first purchase only, no renewals
ShopifyImpactUp to ~$150 one-time per full-price merchant (not recurring)
SquarespaceImpact~$100–$200 per subscription sale

Key findings

  1. Managed hosting pays the biggest single checks. Nexcess (~400% of MRR) and Liquid Web (~300% of MRR) top every other structure per sale — a single high-tier referral can dwarf dozens of one-time bounties.
  2. Lifetime recurring beats 12-month recurring on low-churn products. Systeme.io's 60% lifetime and Kinsta's ~10% monthly-for-life compound far past a one-year window. Cookie length matters less when attribution is sticky (Systeme.io has no cookie expiry).
  3. One structure isn't strictly "best" — it depends on retention. A flat $200 bounty beats 30%-for-12-months on a product the customer churns from in month 3; the recurring deal wins on anything sticky.
  4. Some programs closed or changed in 2025–2026. BigCommerce's affiliate program closed in 2025 (last referrals May 17, 2025). Always confirm a program is still live before building content around it.
  5. PartnerStack and Impact dominate the rails. A large share of SaaS programs run on these two networks — one approved account unlocks many programs at once.

Methodology

Programs were drawn from a sourced 2026 SaaS/hosting dataset and grouped by published payout structure. Only programs with a verified, published rate are shown with a number; programs whose exact rate was not confirmed in the research pass are excluded from rate cells to avoid publishing an unverified figure. "MRR multiple" means the commission equals that percentage of the customer's monthly recurring revenue.

Editorial note (verification): Affiliate rates change frequently and vary by tier, region and volume. Confirm the exact current rate, cookie window and terms on each program's own signup page before relying on or republishing a figure. Compiled 2026-06-27.
